Non-Monogamy.com participates in affiliate programmes. This means that when you click certain links on this site and sign up for or purchase a product or service, we may receive a commission. This costs you nothing extra.
Which links are affiliate links?
Affiliate links are primarily found in platform reviews and comparison pages. Every review page carries a disclosure note. We don't use hidden affiliate links or obscure tracking mechanisms.
We currently have or are pursuing affiliate relationships with:
- Dating platforms reviewed on this site (Feeld, OkCupid, #Open, Kasidie, SLS, and others)
- Amazon Associates (for book recommendations)
- Other dating affiliate networks (CJ Affiliate, ShareASale, Impact)
Does this influence our reviews?
No. Affiliate relationships have no bearing on our scores or editorial assessments. A platform with no affiliate programme receives the same honest evaluation as one with a high commission rate. We will tell you clearly when a platform isn't worth your money.
Our review methodology is publicly documented. The criteria are fixed and applied equally. Commission rate is not a criterion.
Why we use affiliate links
Independent editorial requires funding. Affiliate revenue allows us to maintain this site, research and update reviews, and produce guides without charging for access or running display advertising (which we don't, and don't plan to). This is the standard model for independent editorial sites, and we think it's the most honest available.
If you'd prefer not to use our affiliate links, you can visit any platform directly. Our assessments remain the same either way.
